Malic`s Kosher Style Delicatessen in Windsor

Haven't been for many years but just as great as I remember. Excellent lunch.

Sandwich was a bit smaller then I remember. But still good.

Latest owner has found the sweet spot. By paring down the menu to include only the most popular specialties, Malic's has, in my mind, regained its reputation for excellence.Edit: At the time I wrote this review, I was a customer without affiliation with the establishment. For the past couple of months, I have become involved with the creation of their website and should no longer be considered an arms-length party. However, what I said back then about the food and establishment still stands.

Best sandwich restaurant in the city! The place is a little hard to find as it is a but of a hole in the wall. But i promise when the food comes out you will not regret it!The staff are amazingly freindly and funny.I belive they make all of their meats in house.If you have a cold or stuffed nose try their spicy mustard. It cleared my sinuses out for a month.All in all i would recommend this place to anyone who has lived in windsor their whole life or someone who is visiting for the first time.

5oz. Corned beef on a sourdough light marble rye, sml OG Poutine, a beautiful slice of coconut cream pie....Every bite. Perfect. exactly as it should be. Authentic flavours! loved it! If you remember Dunn's. ...my reference is downtown Toronto (sorry Montreal). You will not be disappointed. FYI DO NOT PARK IN THE PLACE NEXT DOOR. They tow.

Service was great. Food was amazing. Bread was so fresh and the meat we chose was corned beef, it was so tender and juicy!!! Can't go wrong eating here!! I loved it!! Rare thing for me to love a place to eat so much!! Means it's pretty amazing food!! I would most definitely recommend!!! Enjoy!!

Great sandwiches, pickles too, lol. Small lil place but great food and they stack the sandwiches. Haven't been in a bit, need to go by, food just yummy.

Omg. What a sandwich. Just got a 5oz pastrami (they were sold out of corned beef) amazing, melt in your mouth. Bread was incredibly fresh. Prices are excellent. My new go to in Windsor!

New owners and great limited menu. The owners take suggestions well and their smoked meal is number one

Corn beef is still a good sandwich, but it's not the same as it used to be. The meat seems to be different, lost its charm. The waitress was very good. I'll try it one more time

Best Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich in Windsor. Order the Jumbo & you will be amazed.

The location is good. The service was prompt. The food delicious. I had the poutine, a good portion fair price. Gravy was tasty. The reuben sandwich melted in my mouth. They gave me extra coleslaw no charge because I said it tasty but wasn't enough. The inside could use some updating. I will go back again.

A local gem! One of the best corned beef/Montreal smoked meat places I've ever been too. Try the Reuben with thousand island and coleslaw! Last meal worthy!

They are under new owners. The sandwiches are stacked high. The bread is super fresh. You can order different size sandwiches and can order lean or regular meat. French fries are excellent. They have a large menu with alot of variety including vegetarian. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend took me there for my birthday, and I was not disappointed. The food was satisfying and traditional. The smoked meat was exactly what I was craving and I appreciated that they served beer brewed locally. It's clear that they take pride in their food and their establishment. I'll be making Malic's a regular stop from now on.

Great Poutine, really friendly staff

Montreal smoked meat was fantastic! Huge sandwich, tons of thick cut meat that was so tender is was falling apart in my mouth. Also had a Reuben sandwich and my God was it good. Saurkraut was perfectly seasoned and meshed well with the sandwich. Definitely recommend this place

Sandwiches aren't as big as they used to be new owners are awesome..they love to give a warm feeling of family..love to visit when in town..and now you can get bigger portions..must always stop in when in town..warm and friendly atmosphere..now if I can get fresh cut fries, I'd move right in..
